Lemon Halibut with Salsa

This is my favorite fish to cook with salsa. I like it because not only does it smell good, but it tastes great too! I use a lime zest, some cilantro, some chili powder, black pepper, and a bit of salt to make a delicious recipe for fish that goes great on just about any kind of fish or menu. If you are going to be using this fish for frying I would highly suggest making sure that the fish is very cold when you are ready to cook it. It really is best to keep it in the refrigerator if at all possible.

You will need to heat your water to a boiling point then add your fish in first. Once the fish are about done they can be transferred to a plate and allowed to drain the water. Once the water is clear you can add your lemon juice, cilantro, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and a bit of ice cubes to your desired taste. Serve with chips or vegetables as a dip. This is also a wonderful meal that can be served with tortilla chips too.

These are just a few of my favorites that I have prepared with this delicious salsa. As with many recipes for fish I find that it goes best when mixed with other ingredients rather than being an all on its own type of recipe. This makes the lemon halibut an excellent choice for parties and eating with friends. Enjoy! !
