Fruity Crumble

There is nothing better than the smell of fresh baking bread coming from a slice of Fruity Crumble. The sweet smell of freshly made fruit and the taste is too alluring to let it go unnoticed. This is one of those recipes that actually bring back nostalgic memories of childhood, especially for me. When you make your own Fruity Crumble, you are creating a work of art. Not only does this treat have the classic taste of fruit and baking, but it also has some interesting ingredients that add to the unique taste.

What you will need to make this delicious apple and berry crumble are three standard ingredients: apples, peaches, and blackberries. You will also need some liquid such as milk or juice, brown sugar, and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. These are easy to find and can be purchased at your local grocery store at a very reasonable price. You can use store bought apples or even strawberries to make the base of your fruit and berry crumble. The key to a good finished product is using the proper amounts of these ingredients and allowing the apples and peaches to cook down while the other ingredients continue to boil.

Once you have all of your ingredients ready, you will want to mix them together and set the heat to the desired setting. Once the ingredients begin to boil, turn the heat down to reduce the amount of time the ingredients are cooking. Then, you will spoon the cooled fruit and baking into small pieces so that they dry nicely. Once the dry fruits are completely cooked, you can put the crumble on top of your baked sweet treat and enjoy. Fruity pudding is one of my favorites and this recipe produces the best results when using a wooden blender because it can handle the tangy juices from the apples and blackberries that give this dessert its distinct flavor.
