Air Fryer Steak Bites and Mushrooms

Servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed into 1″ pieces
3 c. low-sodium chicken broth
1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes
Freshly chopped parsley, for serving
Directions:
Preheat the empty air fryer to 390 ° F with a crisp plate or basket for 4 minutes.
Pat the meat dry. As the air fryer heats up, throw beef cubes with olive oil and
Montreal spices.
Halve or halve mushrooms. Pour beef cubes and mushrooms into the preheated air
fryer and gently shake to combine.
Set the air fryer temperature to 390 ° F and the timer for 8 minutes.
Stop after 3 minutes and shake the basket. Repeat this process every 2 minutes until
the beef cubes have reached the desired degree of cooking. Lift a large piece out and
test it with a meat thermometer or cut and look in the middle to see the progress. Note
that the meat will continue to cook as soon as it is removed from the air fryer and
resting. Meat is medium at 145 ° F and has a warm pink center.
Let the meat rest for a few minutes before serving and then enjoy
